This is Honey Suckle three fourths chihuahua and one fourth papillion.
We love chihuahuas and got our first one
12 years ago. I had to get past my predjudice about little shivery-rat-dogs-that-yap. I find I am not the only one who
ever underestimated these little big dogs. Chica proved herself to the cat she was only one fourth his size !
When she was 3 years old, she had one litter
of two male puppies, each who became pets to our children, who named them Snoopy and Charlie Brown.
We could not pass up the puppy at the local pet store, they called
her a Chion, as she was half Chihuahua and half Papillion. They are called that because their huge ears look like butterflies,
or papillion in french.
We named her Mona Lisa, as she is so
beautiful, distinctive and intelligent. We learned that she loves to have puppies and to play with them.
Her first litter was fathered by Snoopy, Honey Suckle is one of
them. We kept her son, Leonardo.
